3/16/2022 – Blog #3

Just wanted to update everyone about what we are doing.

1. We have raised $28945 and more is coming. Thank you all who have donated.

2. I want to thank ASP and Molly Huhn for donating 342 LED flashlights. Thank you so much, everything was shipped today and should be there in a week.

3. I have received 122 items from our Amazon list (WOW). That also got shipped today.

4. Today we shipped over 200lbs of aid to Lviv, Ukraine. From there it will be transported (Kyiv area) to the guys in the picture and the medics that are working with them.

5. 9 out of the 19 families have received their funding from the fundraiser. Transferring money is a bit tricky with daily limits, however, I am sending money daily and they are receiving it.

6. This will be an ongoing effort. We are talking about doing an indoor golf sim outing, if you are interested in playing let me know. Sharing the website ukrainemke.com is a huge help, yard signs are free as well if you want one just let me know. For those of you who have donated please share, share, share, and like and comment on these posts, it truly helps.

7. I am communicating with the military personnel on the ground and the Amazon list is changing each day, so please send the list to your friends and family.

8. If you want to do your own fundraiser, let me know if there is anything I can do.

Finally, I am want to thank every single person that has a sign in their yard, Ukrainian flag on their house, kids drawings in your windows, shares and likes my post, shares our ukrainemke.com website, donated money, created an auction for a painting, donated items, created your own fundraiser and is sending all fo the proceed to me. From the bottom of my heart, I and all of the people of Ukraine cannot thank you enough. I take pictures and send them to my family and friends and it truly brings up their morale and gives them hope. Your money that is sent to families is allowing some of the people to stock up on essential medicine, buy non-perishable foods, provide fuel for their vehicles, and some are saving for the rebuilding of their homes.
